Achievement Program

Potential team members come from our recreational classes. An evaluation session is usually held in mid-August with consideration given to age based on availability of space.

Current team members do not need to be reevaluated once selected onto a Team. They will be contacted in early August to see if they will or will not be returning in September for the coming season.

The primary difference between our Achievement Program and our Competitive Program is the Achievement Program will only train during the school year while the Competitive Program trains year round.

Developmental 2 and Competitive 3 & 4 Team members are required to purchase a club training suit, approximate cost is $55 plus HST. The training suit will also be worn in competition.

Competitive 3 & 4 Team members are required to purchase a competition warm-up suit which includes a track jacket and pants, approximate cost is $90-$95 plus HST for a jacket and $55-$62 plus HST for pants.

Gymnasts on the Competitive 3 & 4 Teams must be registered with Gymnastics Ontario as a competitive athlete. There are two components to the registration fee. First is the Individual Insurance Fee each participant must pay in order to be covered by the Gymnastics Ontario insurance program. Second is the Athlete Program Fee to cover the cost of athlete programming and the Gymnastics Canada membership fee. In 2018-2019 the insurance fee is $17.25 plus HST and the Invitational Competitive Athlete Program Fees is $100 plus HST for a total cost of $132.49, which includes HST. All membership fees are non-refundable. The difference owing between the Club Membership Fee and the Gymnastics Ontario Registration Fee is paid by the Club and is included in the calculation of your session fees.

Competitive 3 & 4 Team athletes participating in a competition will be assessed $15 per competition to offset the coach's expense for mileage, meals and accommodation. This fee shall be referred to as the Coach's Travel Levy on all invoices.
